I am an Ecological Economist and Regional Planner with experience in applying economic and planning theory, spatial models, and mixed-evaluation methods to propose innovative lines of sustainable solutions to regional and metropolitan problems in economic, heritage affairs, urban planning, natural areas management, and development.
In Mexico, I worked on the analysis of local development, formulation of sustainable projects, green employment, and identifying strategic economic sectors to develop ecotourism.
I am dedicated to centering my academic and professional endeavors on the realities and insights of marginalized groups and local communities. In this pursuit, I aim to investigate the conflicts between local knowledge creation and conventional development methods, as well as how these dynamics influence discourse.
